On April 16, 2025, the Armada Law team partnered with the City of Greenville to support local recovery efforts after the impact of Hurricane Helene and other pop-up storms that followed. Armada Law team members volunteered at Cleveland Park, helping remove storm debris and restore one of Greenville’s most valued community spaces.
Be the Change Starts Close to Home
At Armada Law, one of our core values is Be the Change. We believe that meaningful change starts with action, whether it’s advocating for our clients or stepping up to support our community when help is needed. Participating in the cleanup effort was an opportunity to put that value into practice and contribute to Greenville’s ongoing recovery.
Small Efforts Make Us Better Every Day
Restoring a park might seem like a small thing. But another value we live by, Better Every Day, reminds us that lasting progress comes from steady, consistent effort. With seven of the Armada Law team members present, we were able to make a big impact in clearing the space for public use again at Cleveland Park. Side by side with city staff, our team helped make a space that so many Greenville families enjoy a little better than it was the day before.
Hurricane Helene’s Impact – Greenville, SC
According to the Greenville Journal, the impact of Hurricane Helene was very real. With winds up to 90mph, it swept through the upstate on September 27th, 2024 and took the lives of seven of our neighbors. Cleanup and restoration took months, we are grateful for the ability to support the Greenville community after months of additional storms passed through during the spring, making restoration efforts difficult.
We are grateful to the City of Greenville for organizing this initiative and to the Armada Law team members who volunteered their time. At Armada Law, we are proud to serve Greenville both inside and outside the office, and we remain committed to finding opportunities to make a positive impact in the communities we call home.
